Sandbar Trips

If your looking for the BIG TIME Chill Out and Relax, than you must try the Islamorada Sandbar Adventure. This is where the locals hang out along with anyone who has the boat to get here. The water is usually always crystal clear and ankle deep at low tide. The Sandbar is the perfect place to meet new friends, enjoy lunch and have a cold one.  The Honey Do has twin power poles to get you shallow enough to just step out of the boat and start living large. We also have a swim platform with ladder to get you back in the boat easily when the 2 foot tide comes back in. It is the perfect way to chill  while enjoying the Florida Keys.

Fishing Adventures

Captain Steve  has been an Offshore charter fisherman since 1994. I now have a 2017 Pathfinder 2300 HPS Bay Boat powered by a 250 Horsepower Yamaha VMax SHO. I am currently offering Backcountry fishing adventures into the Gulf Of Mexico and to the Everglades National Park. This shallow water fishing provides a huge variety of species of fish with generally multiple hook ups all day long. The catches range from Speckled Sea Trout, Spanish Mackerel, Jacks, Ladyfish, Sharks, Tarpon, Bonefish, Redfish, Black Drum as well as many other species and did I mention SHARKS. I provide everything you will need except for food and drink (which could be arranged) including the Florida Fishing License and Everglades National Park Permit for everyone onboard.

I am also available to fish on the Atlantic Ocean side of the Keys. The Patch Reefs, Deep Reefs for Snapper and Groupers and Offshore for Mahi Mahi and Blackfin Tuna when conditions allow. If you are looking for rod bending, drag screaming action you have come to the right boat. Give me a call or E-mail to discuss your options.

From the fateful day in 1984 when Captain Steve vacationed in Islamorada, he knew the Florida Key’s is where he wanted to live, and his love of fishing would be how he would support himself. He returned to Memphis to work in his father’s garage but, like most of us who visit this incredible stretch of island paradise, the soon to be captain never mentally returned to life on land.

Captain Steve made the big move in 1994, worked as a mate on party boats, eventually bought his own boat and started Honey Do Charters. His goal was simple; to give people the same experience that first hypnotized him, ten years ago.

Steadily, the business grew with each great customer experience. To people who did not know any different, Captain Steve was helping people fish. In reality, for those few hours that customers were on his boat, he was providing people with the lifestyle they wish they could live. The fishing was secondary, merely the vehicle to take people to the place they dream about.

Risking it all to satisfy an undeniable desire to live the Florida Key’s lifestyle is what distinguishes Captain Steve from other fishing captains. A hunger so strong and with a passion that is unrivaled, Captain Steve was not going to take the chance of wondering “what if…”

Fishing certainly has no shortage of variables and uncertainties. Wind direction, tides, moon phases and temperatures are just some of the uncontrollable aspects that determine the outcome of the trip. Do yourself a favor and remove one of the biggest variables, your fishing captain. While Captain Steve Stone has been fishing these waters long enough to give you the best chance at catching the fish, this is not why you should fish him. Captain Steve Stone has the same intense passion for the Florida Key’s that grab a hold of your subconscious and infects your soul for the rest of your life. This is why you fish with Captain Steve and Honey Do Charters.

Eco Trips

The Florida Keys is a unique chain of islands that hosts an unbelievable amount of wildlife.  If you want to just take a little cruise, sightsee and escape into your own little world where the sky's the limit. I can provide you with the peacefulness of exploring the Everglades National Park and Gulf of Mexico on your own private excursion into the beautiful, calm waters where you will see wading and roosting birds along with Bottle Nose Dolphins and possibly Manatee. Feel free to get out of the boat and venture up to an uninhabited Mangrove Island or out to the Sandbar for some fun in the sun.
